Barlinek gościł przedstawicieli Zachodniopomorskiej Regionalnej Organizacji Turystycznej (ZROT) z dyrektor biura ZROT dr Anną Gardzińską oraz Magdaleną Olejniczak. Wizyta była poświęcona rozmowom o promocji turystycznej Barlinka i regionu w kontekście sezonu 2026.
Spotkanie rozpoczęło się w Urzędzie Miejskim u burmistrz Barlinka. Obecne były również Katarzyna Mielcarek z Centrum Informacji Turystycznej w Barlinku oraz Magdalena Walaszczyk-Syroka - kierownik referatu Oświaty i Spraw Społecznych. Rozmowy dotyczyły potencjału miasta, możliwych kierunków rozwoju oraz współpracy przy działaniach promocyjnych.
W programie wizyty znalazły się również wybrane miejsca ważne z punktu widzenia oferty turystycznej, w tym Centrum Informacji Turystycznej, Barlinecki Ośrodek Kultury, Muzeum Regionalne w Barlinku oraz Muzeum Woldenberczyków i Wsi w Dziedzicach. Przedstawiciele ZROT odwiedzili także charakterystyczne punkty związane z nordic walking, które od lat wpisują się w wizerunek miasta.
Wizyta była elementem przygotowań do działań promujących Barlinek w nadchodzącym sezonie turystycznym.
